Our Materials

Pearls, Gemstones, Silver & Gold

Pearls and gemstones are the heart. Carefully selected metal settings hold, frame, and complete each design.

Natural materials at the center

The heart of every COSEA piece

Every exact product material and finish must follow its Product Details section.

Freshwater Cultured Pearls

Real cultured pearls formed with human assistance. Natural variation may appear in shape, color, size, luster, texture, and surface marks.

Natural Gemstones

Stones selected for color, texture, and character. Natural inclusions, surface characteristics, and color variation may occur.

Metal settings and finishes

Gold color is not automatically solid gold. Silver color is not automatically sterling silver. Product Details remain the source of truth.

Clear material language

Know what each term means

Descriptions must match the actual piece, component, base metal, and finish.

Sterling Silver

Used in selected designs and may naturally tarnish over time.

18K Gold

Use only when a product or component is confirmed as 18K gold.

Gold Plated or Vermeil

Different from solid gold; base metal and finish must be stated.

Gold Tone or Silver Tone

Describes color or appearance, not precious-metal content.

Natural variation is part of the material

No two pearls or gemstones are exactly alike. Slight differences in color, shape, luster, texture, inclusions, and surface characteristics are expected and are not considered defects.

Material accuracy comes first

Natural variation does not excuse breakage, missing parts, incorrect items, or severe mismatch. Contact customer care if an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
